Ongoing practice with U-14 and U-16 girls in Jayapura
Every Monday and Thursday from 15:15 to 17:45, our talented players train at the soccer school in Waena, Jayapura, Papua.
Friendly matches
We started playing friendly matches against boys’ teams from other football schools as well as experienced women’s teams
Fellowship after practice
Once a month, we have a meeting after practice at the coach’s house. The girls enjoy it and always have a good time singing, dancing, praying, sharing stories, and eating together
Coaching clinic
Together with coaches from another football school, we organized a coaching clinic at a children’s home in Sentani. Thirty-three kids took part, and Coach Heidi mentored seven young coaches during the clinic

Improvements
The girls in Malang are doing great, improving in their schoolwork, learning English, and playing successfully in the U-15 and U-18 Hydroplus League.
Practice with boys team
In order to strengthen their fitness and skills, the five girls in Malang practice with a boys’ soccer school twice a week.
Topscorer
Kesya is the top scorer in the U-15 Hydroplus League in Surabaya with 37 goals after 10 match days. Her team, Arema FC Women, is leading the league table with 30 points.
Futsal tournament
In March, our U-16 girls played in their first official U-19 futsal tournament and immediately impressed with amazing performances.

Champions with Arema U-15
Our three U-15 players, Kesya Nian, Bela Gobai, and Agustince Kafiar, won the Hydroplus U-15 League Surabaya with their club, Arema. They will represent Arema at the Hydroplus U-15 National Championship in Kudus this July.
Topscorer Kesya Arabela Nian
Kesya Nian, our talented striker from Papua and a member of Arema’s U-15 team, finished as the top scorer of the Hydroplus U-15 League, scoring an impressive 42 goals during the season.
Runner Up with Arema U-18
Hana Edowai and Juliana Waum are two of our players from Papua who currently play for Arema’s U-18 women’s team. Their team finished as runners-up in their league and has qualified for the National Championships, which will take place in July.
News from June 2026
Our U-16 girls in Papua delivered an outstanding performance in a futsal match against the women’s team from the Sports Teachers Program at Cenderawasih University (UNCEN), winning convincingly by a score of 10–2.
Many of our talented players do not own proper football boots and often train in worn-out shoes that are falling apart.
If you would like to help these young girls pursue their football dreams, please support our program with a donation. Your contribution will help provide them with new football boots and essential training equipment.
Five of these amazing players will soon receive scholarships. At the end of June, Coach Heidi will bring the second group of selected talents to Malang, where they will have access to better educational opportunities and advanced football development.
